Girls Guide to Savannah, Georgia⛲️🍑🦪🥂🐴

This was my second trip to Savannah, Georgia and I definitely like it more after this trip! The first time I came to Savannah was for a bachelorette which is a chaotic way to see a city for the first time. This time I stayed for 5 days and got to really take in what Savannah has to offer. The weather this trip was also a lot cooler so I got to walk around and see more things. The Savannah heat can be intense so I would recommend coming here in the cooler seasons. Personally when I visit a city one of my favorite things to do is to stroll and see everything, when the southern heat sets in it’s nearly impossible to do that. I was very happy to have a few cool days here and I would say my favorite thing about Savannah is how walkable of a city it is. I loved that almost everything you wanted to do was a walk away. I definitely will be visiting in the future again and I have a ton of recommendations for your next trip to Savannah, Georgia!

Where to stay:

Bardo- This stunning brand new property is located right in the fairytale Forsyth Park. The rooms are luxe and spacious with a chic bathtub and robes for ultimate relaxation overlooking the park. There’s something about a hotel property feeling like a home that I love. Bardo even has a champagne happy hour in their chandelier filled lobby.

things to do in savannah:

Shop Bull St- My favorite boutiques were Dress Up, The Impeccable Pig and The Paris Market.
Walk the city- Take in the views of the horse and carriage rides and all of the cities greenery
Plant Riverside District- live music, river view dining, ice cream shops, souvenir stores, restaurants and the Georgia Queen!

Sample honey- at @savannahbeecoand praline at the candy kitchen
Go for ice cream- at the famous @leopoldsicecream I highly recommend the Lemon Custard flavor!
Go on a ghost tour- with @savannahghosttours
Get a psychic reading- with @savannahpsychics amazing experience, Brian and Jen were awesome and knowledgeable in their practice, prepare to see a lot of your future.

Visit Forsyth Park fountain- this stunning park fountain is surrounded by Savannah’s famous moss covered trees and a perfect place to cool down, relax and especially get a perfect IG photo.

Go on a horse and carriage ride- See the city from a different point of view as you tour old school style on the back of a horse and carriage ride. I didn't get a chance to do this here but I have in NYC and you truly do feel like you’re living in a fairytale.

But first, Coffee:

Collins Quarter in Forsyth Park- My dream cafè! Located in the gorgeous park with a take away window, park view seating, and a tasty menu.
The Paris Market- My favorite things include shopping + coffee. This Parisian spot was where I spent a lot of my time in Savannah! A perfect cafè for a work from home day and an eclectic shopping experience.

Where to Eat:

The Olde Pink House- Even if you aren’t eating here this is a destination to visit for pictures. I came here last time I was in Savannah on a bachelorette and we rented out the top floor and it was so iconic. If you are looking for a classy bachelorette dinner this is the move. The maid of honor curated a menu and we had a private singer. It was a dream and I highly recommend this experience.

The Wine Emporium Savannah- Calling all wine lovers! This wine bar and restaurant was the perfect place for a solo dinner. I needed some alone time and came here to enjoy a glass of Sancerre and a leafy green salad.

Ordinary Pub- My second time at Ordinary Pub! We came for brunch when I came for the bachelorette last year and I got the avocado toast. For dinner I got the Fish + greens which was the waiters recommendation.

Rhett at The Alida Hotel- Last time I was in Savannah I stayed at The Alida Hotel. I loved this hotel and definitely think it’s a great spot to stay as well as come to for dinner. Rhett had amazing seafood options with a southern twist. I personally love any place that has Sancerre on the menu so that was a plus as well!

Ardsley Station- We came here for lunch and although this spot was a little further out then most of my recommendations I would say it’s worth the drive! They had a killer cocktails list and the salmon Caesar salad was amazing, the salmon was cooked to perfection and the anchovies on the salad were delish.

Common Restaurant- I loved this sister spot of The Ordinary Pub. You MUST get the crab cake here. It was so unique with plantains and spices that reminded me of the food I ate in Jamaica.

Where to have a Girls Night Out:

Congress Street Social Club: I was in Savannah on weekdays but I will say it still was a lot busier than I would expect for week nights. There even was a bachelor party out on a Wednesday that we hung out with here. Social Club is a fun vibe with ski ball, pool tables and more fun games!
