Girls Guide to Park City, Utah
Park City, Utah is a snowy winter wonderland straight out of story book. Its mountain backdrop, colorful houses, and bustling Main Street makes for the perfect place for your next Ski trip. This was my third time here in Park City during Sundance Film Festival. Whether you’re coming to park city for a ski trip or for Sundance there’s so much to do and see. You can spend a whole week on Main St. entertained. Main Street is lined with buildings built during a 19th-century silver mining boom that are now at unning art galleries, unique boutiques, delicious restaurants, and an incredible amount of bars for Apres Ski! Park City is self proclaimed “Winter’s Favorite Town” and with its Pray for Snow signs, full time christmas decor, happy skiiers and twinkly lights I can definitely agree.
Park City also prides itself with sustainability and commitment to preserving the surrounding wildlife. They have a free bus station system and when I saw the buses I was in awe how that PC can even make buses look cute with a happy skiier sliding on the far side of the bus and a picturesque mountain. The surrounding wildlife is no joke and I felt like I was in a Disney Movie on our drive home one night when a deer crossed our path. When we looked over to the side we saw not only one deer but a whole mountain full of beautiful perfect deer and moose hanging out together looking like they were stargazing. I was stunned and it was a core memory I will never forget. Luckily I got a photo for proof!
With its five-star hotels, gourmet dining experiences, and activities from ice skating to sleigh rides and even dog sledding, this is your sign to add Park City to your bucket list immediately!

Restaurants
The Bridge restaurant- Immerse yourself with the skiers in this dreamy atmosphere looking straight out at the ski mountains. Not only is the view to die for but the food is amazing too.
Harvest- At the end of main st. and Park you’ll find the Rio Grande Harvest cafè. The perfect spot for breakfast and lunch, with scrumptious avocado toasts, smoothies and salad bowls.
Chimayo- Local Southern Utah cuisine meets Southern Mexican at this fun restaurant. The Eclectic decor with funky lights, Southwestern throw pillows, Mexican tiles and a beautiful fireplace is an upscale fabulous restaurant loved by locals and travelers. Not only are the vibes immaculate but the food is delicious. There’s so many great meals to choose from, I highly recommend ordering a Chimayo Margarita and the enchiladas.
Yuki Yama Sushi- Main St. Truly has a bit of every type of cuisine and this sushi spot was one of my favorites. We got a seat at the top floor and had an incredible view of the evening lights of the street. I got the hand roll salmon avocado special and it was a treat. I’m always skeptical ordering sushi in landlocked state but they have some of the freshest seasonal fish flown in from around the world!
501 on Main - Park City also has a ton of vegan options and 501 main served up an incredible vegan chili that warmed me up in temperature and spice. This casual spot is a good option right in the middle of the street for lunch of Après ski. They even have a drink called Sundance!
Chef Dance Social- The brand new restaurant was initially a pop up during Sundance Film Festival where chefs from all around the world would come in and create fabulous dishes for guests during the festival. Now a permanent installation, award-winning Chef Shawn McClain is curating an Italian-inspired menu. I was lucky enough to come to dinner here for a tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed the warm olives, house made focaccia, grilled octopus speidini, and lobster spaghetti.
Shopping
Main Street is full of iconic shopping stores. Window shopping is a must when you’re visiting here and I got you covered to the best shops to walk into and be marveled so much that you may be making a fun purchase.
Kemo Sabe- A cowgirl’s, or cowgirl wannabe like me, dream. This shop is truly iconic with some of the best colorful western for coats, fabulous cowboy boots, and a seemingly a million Stetson hats.
Gorsuch - This boutique is like 10 different aesthetics and shops in one big store and how I imagine having a shop one day. The visual merchandising of the store is incredible, taking you from an Ireland countryside with the artwork and plaid coats to Barbieland with the amazing LoveShackFancy pink and floral ski collection.
Burns Cowboy Shop - In case the large horse outside of the store doesn’t draw you in to this fantastic shop let me be the one to tell you that you must go in! I adore this Cowboy shop and need to have everything in this store. Especially the gorgeous Laborde hide leather bags with monogram horses on them.
Chamomile - I was drawn into this store by the “I’m Difficult” cashmere sweater styled with a pink bubble skirt from the store window and oh was it amazing. They had so many pieces I wanted in here and if my suitcase wasn’t already overweight I would have bought them all.
Free People- The most iconic Free People location there ever was with views of skiers from inside the shop.
Dollys Bookstore- A live in cat is enough to draw you into this stunning book store!
Apres Ski-
No Name Saloon- This fun balcony is the spot to be. I am not day drinker but this spot had me wanting to go up to the balcony for a drink with the rest of the fun crowd, even in the 30 degree weather.
High West Distillery- Underneath an old National Garage Saloon signage is this popular distillery and tasting room full of skiiers and tourists. This spot is located in Old Town, Park City with a General Store, Restaurant, and prix fixe dinners at The Nelson Cottage.
The Marquis - When you’re in town make sure to check out the Marquis showings because you may get to check out this live venue for a favorite artist!
I truly hope that I have put this fabulous destination on your radar if it wasn’t already . Be sure to follow along and stay tuned for my first ever travel vlog featuring Park City coming soon! I’m always here for any and all questions if you’re looking to book a trip definitely reach out.
